I have been petsitting for more than 5 years, as well as worked in a veterinary hospital for a year now. I am a rising college senior currently studying Animal Sciences in hopes of being a veterinarian. I have worked with many senior dogs as well and understand the importance of keeping dogs happy and healthy. No shortcuts!

Alianna did a fantastic job house sitting for our golden retriever. She took extra care of him while he was recovering from injury, providing frequent ongoing updates to us on her visits as well as pics of our fur baby. Thanks for being so thoughtful and responsive!
Aliana was great with our cats! She spent time with them during her visits and she sent us pictures every day. The cats seemed comfortable and happy with her while we were gone!

Schedule
Pet care fits perfectly into my summer schedule. I’m currently working as a veterinary assistant, so I’m already focused on animal care every day, and I love bringing that same level of attention and compassion to the pets I watch on Rover. Outside of work, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to do drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I prioritize reliable communication and making sure each pet gets the time, care, and love they need while their owners are away!

I understand how stressful it is to leave your pets alone with a stranger. However I will make sure to keep your home safe and secure when visiting your pets, and making sure your pet feels loved and comfortable with me as well. I am well experienced in crate training as well as making sure no shortcuts are taken regarding your dogs health and home security. I am big on communication as well and will regularly update you on your pets wellbeing!

A typical day
A typical day with pets includes lots of love, attention, and fun! I always start by making sure their basic needs are met: fresh food, water, and any medication if needed. Then we get into the fun stuff: walks, playtime with toys, belly rubs, or just relaxing together depending on their energy level and personality. If your pet loves to play, we’ll spend time running around, tossing toys, or playing tug-of-war. For more mellow pets, I’ll keep them company with gentle pets and calm companionship. Whatever makes your pet happiest and most comfortable!
