Your Dog, Loved Like Family ❤️

I’ve been on Rover since 2024, with clients in both Kitchener Waterloo and Ottawa. In Kitchener Waterloo, I also helped foster dogs with limited socialization and dogs recovering from severe injuries. You can meet one of them, Tobby, in my photo gallery. In Ottawa, I’ve cared for pups of all ages, from 8 months to 14 years old, with different needs for walks, training, playtime, and attention. I also have experience caring for dogs with different health conditions, including thyroid conditions, arthritis, allergies, and anxiety. I’ve also volunteered at dog shelters, caring for dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to seniors. I’m comfortable with barking, jumping, showing teeth, and all the other things that come with dogs. I’ve had dogs and cats in my family my whole life, so taking care of pets has always been a natural part of my life.

My dog, Laila, had an amazing stay with Aliaksandra and her husband! I booked last minute and Aliaksandra was very quick to respond while I was booking and during Laila’s entire stay! I received lots of photos and videos throughout the day and Laila received lots of love and exercise! I would 100% have Laila go back to Aliaksandra in the future!

Aliaksandra did an excellent job with our Shepard/Rottie mix. She sent picture updates along with a daily screenshot of their walk routes I would recommend her to anyone in the area. Very pleasant to deal with as well.

A typical day

A typical day usually includes 2 to 3 walks. Our morning walk is around 30 to 40 minutes around the neighborhood. In the afternoon, we usually go for a longer 1 to 1.5 hour walk at Hampton Dog Park or walk to Westboro Beach and along the Ottawa River Pathway. Before bed, we can also do a short walk so everyone is comfortable and ready to sleep. We always feed dogs separately to avoid any conflicts or food aggression. At home, dogs usually don’t play too much since we live in an apartment and space is limited. So we have a pretty simple house rule: lots of energy, walks, and playtime outside, but at home we are all chill couch potatoes. Your pup can help me work on my laptop or join us for some Amazon Prime on the couch.

Before your pup stays with me, I’d love to know a few things: Feeding schedule, food allergies, and anything they absolutely can or can’t eat. Their usual daily routine. How many walks do they normally get? Do they love long walks and playtime, or are they more of a couch potato? Their personality. Are they shy, super social, anxious, scared of anything, or reactive to certain dogs or situations? Any health conditions, medications, allergies, or mobility issues I should know about. Commands they know and any behavior I should be aware of. Your vet and emergency contact info, just in case. And of course, tell me anything else you think is important! You know your pup best, and I want to keep their routine as close to normal as possible while you’re away.
