*I am currently only able to provide no more than two visits per day on days that I am working. I love helping care for pets and want to provide the best service possible. Please ask if you have any questionsabout availability. I typically work 8am-4:30pm, but hours and days vary* Communication is key with any type of scheduling, so please let me know any tentative or concrete plans as soon as possible so I may accommodate them :) I have taken same day bookings with no issue before, but please do understand that it is not always possible in every situation; however, I will do as much as I can to help meet the needs of you and your beloved pets!

I prefer to take guidance from clients and maintain their unique and individual standards for their petcare. Every pet is different, and every client has different needs and expectations I strive to meet and exceed.

Information Ali M. would like to know about your pet

Age, species, expectations, and breeds if applicable. Who is allowed on what furniture? Which pets get along best with other pets if there are multiple? What accommodations do you prefer or does your pet require(such as help down stairs), and are there any known allergies? (Or allergies of anyone in the house I am sitting; for example if someone has a peanut allergy, I dont want to bring food with peanut products.) What do they usually like as far as playtime and toys? What are their rules, commands, and behavioral modifications in progress? Does your pet have any quirks or personality traits that are safety related? What about personality in general? Feeding preferences such as time, amount, and frequency will be needed, of course, including treat limits and preferences. Do we bag poo, and if so, where are the proper facilities and procedures you prefer me to use, or other potty/litter information? Medications and dosages as well as emergency procedures and preferences; Are there restrictions or special instructions or preferences for your plumbing in the house; if I am sitting, I need to know which toilet is safe to use/if you have to hold the handle/not flush paper/only use a certain bathroom/the sink knobs are reversed, and so on. I usually prefer to meet at least once before sitting so that I can gain perspective on the pet and owner relationship as well as any fun details such as tricks and stories. Do I check your mail, and if so, where would you like me to place it? I am open to all breeds, ages, and pretty much any species with our adequate communication :)

A typical day

I love to enjoy walking the Greenway! It is great for canine socialization which is imperative for any developing pup! Dunbar Cave has a beautiful woodsy trail! I prefer pets to be leashed or in fenced yards for safety unless the property allows otherwise. Walks and naps are great bonding activities to make your dog or cat feel the companionship they miss when you're not around. Treat based "games" and adherence to familiar routines are also important.

Pet care experience

I grew up on a small farm with many plants and animals. I am currently a certified pet dog groomer in a salon and can trim nails, bathe, administer medication, and absolutely love my career. I have trained a plethora of species ranging from guppies to a donkey, including chickens. I have also earned two certificates in dog and cat first aid and pet care maintenance. I am very in tune with animal body language and behavior and belive this is essential in working with animals, as well as respecting their space and needs. I have a lot of experience safely handling reactive dogs in a salon setting. I absolutely love chickens. I currently have one dog, one cat, one rabbit, houseplants, compost pile, and a container garden. My pets mean everything to me, and all animals deserve the most respect and care we can provide 💞 Please feel free to ask me about any booking concerns or curiosities 🐈🐕🐩🐓🐐 🪴 🐁🦔🐇🐤🦃🐠🦀🐌🪲🕷

Ali was the best dog sitter for Pancho. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure Pancho had everything he needed, while I was away. I will continue to use Ali for Pancho. Ali made my vacation a successful trip. No worries and I was at peace. Thank you again 🐾💌
