I live near Deb’s Regional Park in Highland Park—it’s convenient to get to and offers a great place to walk and socialize with other pets. Plenty of walks and play will always be on the agenda. Hi, my name is Ali and I’m excited to be your next pet-sitter on Rover! I have been around dogs all my life, grew up with pets as a child and have volunteered with animal rescue organizations in my home country. I appreciate how quality of life increases when opening up your home to a dog and enjoy being around pups as much as I can. Though I can’t have a pet at the moment, pet-sitting is a way for me to stay connected to my four-legged friends as much as I can. I am approachable, trustworthy and responsible. I work as a UX designer—for those who don’t know, UX stands for User Experience, which means my whole job is focused on understanding the needs of people and anticipating what design features would help make their lives easier. This philosophy extends to my work as a pet-sitter as well—I will always be thinking about anticipating your needs and will be sure to communicate with you regularly in order to provide the best possible care. Additionally, I have a flexible schedule and can alter my day to suit your needs.

Ali was wonderful. I had to fly for a doc apt and had a last min cancellation for letting my dogs out to potty two days before my flight. He was quick to respond and was able to come by the next day to meet the girls. They liked him and had no hesitation when they first met. He sent me pictures and had great communication.
