With over 15 years of experience in professional pet care, I'm passionate about providing the best possible care for your beloved companion. My journey with animals began at my aunt's wildlife rehabilitation centre, and has since included roles as a vet assistant, work in pet stores and animal shelters, and running my own successful dog walking and pet sitting business. My partner and I are dedicated small dog rescue fosters, which means we have a deep understanding of what it takes to help dogs feel safe and secure. When we're not fostering, we love to open our home to board friendly dogs. Every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to create a custom plan for each one—filled with enrichment activities to keep them happy, safe, and engaged. Your pet will be treated like a member of our family from the moment they arrive.

Safety, trust & environment
I only accept dogs that are up to date on vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations may be required. I am unable to host highly reactive dogs in my home - it wouldn't be fair to the other residents. SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS: DROP-IN VISITS (Canine) - Select this service when your dog requires a bathroom break, and to top-up water/food. This service is NOT intended for folks traveling out of town. I'm not comfortable leaving dogs unattended for extended periods of time while owners are away. Please select BOARDING if you are away. DROP-IN VISITS (Feline): Includes feeding, refreshing water, scooping litter and best of all, playtime! BOARDING - Your pet comes to stay at my place while you are away. Included in this rate are walks/bathroom breaks, feeding, and basic grooming. Please note that my apartment is situated on the second floor of an apartment building, and is not suitable for large breed , senior pets with mobility issues. DOG WALKING - I offer 30 min. - 1 hour walks based on your dog's needs. I provide attentive care to keep your pets safe and happy. From working with rescues, reading body language is essential to understanding the emotional state of an animal. It's all about keeping your pet feeling safe and having a positive experience! Please note that I personally do not drive, and access my clients on foot or via transit. My partner owns a vehicle, and I've been known to enlist his 'critter cab' services from time to time. ;) We practice safe transportation, and clip dogs in.

With advance notice, I have flexible availability. In the event that I’m not appearing as ‘available’ on the calendar, kindly send me a message and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs: allergies, medications, medical history or behaviors that require accommodation. We'll come up with a plan that will ensure your pet's safety. I love working with all breeds and ages, but I'm particularly fond of senior pets. While I have experience working with reactive dogs, I would greatly appreciate this information being disclosed to me ahead of time. My building is very dog friendly, and as such, is not a suitable environment for large, reactive dogs.
