Having worked full time at a veterinary hospital, care of animals and their owners was a part of my daily life! I try to accommodate all schedules to the best of my ability and am flexible with my schedule.

I treat each pet and home as if it were my own. I spoil my pets and would love to do the same for yours. I work individually with you to come up with a visit plan that is tailored to your pet's needs and prioritize communications with you going forward to ensure your expectations are getting met. I relay any immediate concerns that I have during a visit by calling you or directly messaging you. Otherwise, you can expect a summary of the visit, with images, at the end of my visit with your pet(s).

The information that is important to know ahead of time is if they have any medical concerns that I need to be aware of, if they’re okay with other dogs (if you plan for them to be around other dogs), if they’re up to date on vaccinations (if you want them to be around other dogs), if you have any behavioral concerns (such as reactivity to other animals or humans), what their favorite things to do are, if there’s any diet concerns I need to be aware of, and if there’s any training you’re working on that you’d like me to implement.

If your dog is high energy I think a walk at Ledges State Park would be perfect! If your dog is okay around other dogs, and is up to date on vaccinations, they may love going to the local dog park. And if your dog just likes spending time in their own yard than I’d love to play a game of fetch or tug of war with them. If there’s certain trainings you’re working on, I can help by implementing that into my time spent with them as well. And for the lap dogs, I’m always up for snuggles! For my cat friends, I often like to play with toys of theirs while I'm there. If they're the snuggly type, I'm happy to provide all the pets and snuggles they want. I'm also experienced in watching other species as well. If you'd like to discuss care for them, please feel free to reach out.

I’ve taken care of many animals over the course of my life. I lived nearly two decades on a farm where animals would often get dropped off and I’d care for them for the remainder of their lives. I worked at a veterinary hospital for 3 years and have 4 cats and a dog of my own. I’ve cared for many friend’s pets while they’re out of town, including both cats and dogs with medical needs. I have a passion for helping others and their furry family members! I believe all animals are deserving of our unconditional love and attention. When life calls you away, I’m happy to step in and ensure they get the utmost care. I’m experienced in giving animals medication, including insulin, and have worked with many different types of collars, leashes, and harnesses. I’ll do my absolute best to care for them in the way you prefer them to be cared for and am happy to take time to make a plan for the care that you expect. I’m also aware of signs and symptoms to look for in an emergency situation and have phone numbers and resources on hand to ensure they get the best care, with your permission. I love sending photos to my clients to show them what a great time we’re having together!

Ali was great! Its nice to have piece of mind when leaving our fur baby! She did everything that was asked of her! Now Dixie has a new friend! Loved the report and pictures, it just made me smile and felt very confident in Ali! Definitely will ask her again to care for Dixie!
