Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first. I know every dog has their own routine and preferences, so I’m happy to follow whatever they’re used to, from feeding schedules, walks, and playtime to training routines, medication, and sleeping arrangements. My aim is to keep your dog comfortable, happy, and cared for while sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine and ensuring they receive the attention they need.
Information Alfie W. would like to know about your pet
I would need to be informed of any special needs or medical requirements your dog may have, including any medication, feeding routines, or health conditions so I can properly adapt my care. It would also be really helpful to know about any behaviours I should be aware of, such as reactivity, separation anxiety, fears, or triggers, as well as how your dog typically responds to new people or other animals. This ensures I can adjust my approach to keep your dog safe, comfortable, and well looked after while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible.
A typical day
A typical day while house sitting a dog would include starting the morning with a toilet break and a walk, making sure they get some fresh air and exercise before breakfast. After feeding them and refreshing their water, I’d spend time giving them attention and play—things like fetch, tug toys, or simple training exercises to keep them mentally stimulated. During the day I’d check in regularly, let them out for toilet breaks, and make sure they’re comfortable and relaxed, often giving them company so they don’t feel alone. In the afternoon or evening, I’d take them on another walk, tailored to their energy level, followed by more play or enrichment activities, and then settle them down for the night with food if needed, a final toilet break, and plenty of reassurance so they feel safe and cared for in their own home.

3+ Years Dog Walking & Pet Sitting!
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m an experienced and reliable dog lover who has grown up around dogs my whole life. Because of this, I have a good understanding of dog behaviour and how to make dogs feel comfortable and safe. For the past three years, I have provided weekly walks for three dogs belonging to the same owner, and have also pet sat for them on multiple occasions. Caring for these different breeds has given me experience with a range of personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m confident handling dogs and always make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to adapt to their usual routine and any specific requirements they may have. I take responsibility seriously and will always treat your dog with care and respect. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! -Alfie
