Availability
While I do work full-time, I am remote and have full control over my schedule. I also do part-time freelance work here on Rover. My availability is very open due to the flexibility of my schedule. This flexibility allows me to work around pet-specific needs for attention, food/water, and medication. I offer specific time slots to provide specialized pet care to you furry loved ones to ensure they are happy, healthy, and safe in my care. I offer drop-ins from 8:30am to 9pm most days! For specific medication or care needs, I can adjust when necessary!

Drop-in care: I can provide fur brushing, nail trimming, oral care, and other forms of grooming/maintenance (depending on the comfort of both you and them). I can provide structured feeding times or free feeding and work around any specific diets. I have experience with vastly different temperaments, shy animals, and medication administration that I can apply whenever it is needed. Information Alexys G. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the comfort of you and your pet, I do have questions prior to the first booking regarding their temperament around strangers, other animals, and food as well as what your expectations are for the booking. Although these situations may not arise in some bookings, knowing ahead of time can provide comfort and safety for me and them. Any allergies, medications, and dietary restrictions also need to be know to assure the best care for your pet. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ I require all cats being boarded to be up to date on all core cat vaccines (FHV-1, FCV, FPV, rabies, and FeLV) and be indoor only. I will not board cats with active symptoms of FIV (sneezing, leaky nose, and diarrhea). When boarding animals, there is a responsibility on me as the care provider to host a healthy, happy, and safe environment for all my clients. These parameters are in place for the safety and health of my own cats as well as the cats of the families I board with. Thank you for your understanding.

I think mental and physical stimulation are both crucial in this line of work, so keeping your loved ones entertained and active is a top priority. Playing, exercise, as desired grooming, pets, and lots of love are just some of the things they can expect during a booking with me.

Pet care experience
I have personally owned, loved, and cared for my own cats, dogs, and amphibians throughout my life. I currently have four lovely cats and had shared care of my childhood dogs for 11 years until moving out of my parents home. I have extensive experience with different pet personalities, animal behavior, and general pet care in both long and short term settings, professionally through rover as well as for friends and family.

Alexys is incredible! She watched our two cats during a week-long vacation. We are so thankful for her thorough updates and thoughtful care of our cats. It was so wonderful to see the photo updates each day. Our cats love Alexys and always appreciate her pets and treats during her visits. Alexys was a fabulous sitter for our two cats! Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness blew us away. She followed our instructions, provided detailed reports each day, and sent adorable photos.
