I got my first dog at 13 and loved helping my mom take care of him. Growing up, we had a "zoo" in our house with a dog, two birds, a bearded dragon, and a decent-size fish tank. I was always talking about animals. I've been helping take care of animals ever since, for friends and family who have pets, and even watching kids along with animals. Animals have had a huge impact on my life since I was a child.

Lex was responsive, flexible, and did a great job with my husky and border collie mixes. The house was just as I left it upon my return. And both my dogs seemed happy, healthy, and not in the least bit stressed by my absence. Great experience.
Alexis is hands down our go-to sitter! She just finished a two-week stay at our place while we were overseas, and once again, she was incredible. This was actually the 4th time we’ve used her this past year, and we honestly wouldn't trust anyone else. She sent us daily updates and photos of the pups, which was such a relief since we were busy and couldn't always get back to her right away. She handled everything like a pro. We came home to a super clean house and—most importantly—the dogs were totally chilled out and clearly loved having her there. If you need someone who is reliable and genuinely great with dogs, Alexis is the best!
Alexis was a pleasure to work with, she is very quick to respond to messages. She kept us up to date with daily check ins and pictures. She was very good with our boys from the moment she met them. She also left the house looking just as it was before she arrived.
Alexis took great care of my dog while I was away over the holidays. She made sure he was safe, comfortable and happy. I would recommend Alexis, if not for her, I would not have been able to visit my family.
This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We had a small hiccup with our WiFi being down for a day, but she was so understanding and flexible about it. She was very responsive, kept us updated every day with pictures, and took great care of our pup and home. Super kind and easy to communicate with—we’d definitely book with her again for another stay!
