Just a stray wandering aimlessly, and taking care of some pets along the way. I recently turned my pet care services into a small business in the Effingham County (GA) area, called Stray and Wander Pet Care LLC. I have Pet Care Insurance and am Cat and Dog First Aid certified. I am available for bookings through Rover after a complementary meet and greet. Although I have primarily cared for adults and senior pets, I would love to work with pets of all species, ages, and sizes! I am never afraid to learn something new or get my hands dirty.

I am able to care for your fur baby at the comfort of your home, take them for a walk/scroll, or just drop-in to check on them upon an introductory in-person meeting. I am first aid certified for cats and dogs and also have pet liability insurance.

Alexis was amazing first time I met her. I knew she would be great with my dog Maggie. Who is blind and deaf? And I knew she would put the patience in to take care of her for my journey away. She was an amazing pet sitter and house sitter. She did an exceptional job and I would recommend her to any one I am planning to use her in the future as well.
Hanna (our old lady GS) liked Alexis since the first time she saw her. She had a good time receiving love and walking with Alexis!
Would definitely book Alexis again to pet sit for me. She was caring and attentive. My pets were comfortable (3 cats and a Rottweiler) and showed no anxiety. I really appreciate her help! 10 outta 10 would love for her help again!
Alexis is wonderful with pets! I’ve never seen a dog or cat that didn’t like her. Rover seems like the perfect job for her that wouldn’t feel like a job.

Schedule
I essentially have a lot of free time outside of my full-time job. I can provide early morning pet care, after 4:30-5 PM M-F or most weekends.
