Hi there! My name is Alexis, and I am an experienced dog walker and pet care provider based in the Wylie area. While my lifelong love for animals is the driving force in my desire to care for your pets, it is my diverse background that sets me apart. I have volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Canine Companions for Independence, and the SPCA as a dog walker and socializer and have experience caring for all breeds from the smallest of the toy breeds to full-sized working dogs. I understand that your pets are individuals and have needs that are specific to them and my personalized, caring approach will be tailored to you and your pet's needs. Whether sweet Fluffy needs some social time during the day or Fiesty Fido needs a good afternoon romp through the neighborhood, you can feel confident that they will receive the attention and love that they deserve while in my care. I love feline friends as well and happy to check in on Queen Kitty too!

Alexis did such a wonderful job with our house sit, I couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our 7 month Australian shepherd puppy is at a challenging stage right now and she did such a great job managing his energy while looking after our 2 cats and chickens so we didn't have to board our pup. We hope to stay in contact with her for the next time we need a house sit, as she truly went above and beyond by communicating every day with us and doing more than we asked or required. Alexis house sat my 7 year old, anxious and energetic German shepherd this weekend and was super helpful in easing my mind with regular updates and pictures while I was away. She paid extra attention to detail by notifying me of a thunderstorm ahead of time to see if my dog needed any special care! A typical day
Your dog can look forward to a good game of fetch or tug-of-war, a long walk through your neighborhood, or even a romp out by the lake if you choose! Is Fido extra rambunctious? Not a problem! As an avid runner, I am happy to bring your pooch along for a few miles with me. For those calmer pups and the sweet seniors too, I will provide extra companionship and snuggles, and any meals or medications that are required.
