I have been an animal lover since the day I was born. Growing up, my favorite shows were always Dogs 101 and Cats 101. I have owned and been around dogs my entire life, have had a few cats here and there, and have had just about every small animal you can think of (birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, even a snake!). I have four years of professional experience working at canine boarding/training/daycare facilities. I am well trained in dog behavior, nutrition, and body language. Having problems with training? Let me know! I would love to help out! Your dog’s diet not working for them? I can provide plenty of recommendations for a variety of concerns!

One thing I have learned in my time caring for pets is that it is truly best to stick to their routine as much as possible. Tell me about your pet’s schedule, routines, quirks, and personality and I will adjust! If your dog is a runner, great! So am I! Does your pet have a feeding routine? I make my dog give me a kiss before he eats, I get it. Let me know how I can make your pet feel most comfortable!

Alexis took amazing care of our cats and especially bonded with our kitty who often has separation anxiety. I felt completely at ease on our trip getting all of her encouraging updates.

Schedule
I work full time as a barista. My hours are usually 6am-12pm (6 hours) making for near full days with your pet despite working! I have found success with pets who are early risers as well as those who like to sleep in, and am happy to try to arrange days off in my schedule with enough advance notice.

- First and foremost please make me aware of ANY health issues, pains, medications, etc,. Your pet’s health comes first always. But besides that, tell me all about your pet! I would like to know special instructions/needs, but I’d also like to know your pet’s quirks. What games do they enjoy? Where’s there favorite spot to pet? Are there any nicknames they respond to? How best can I care for your pet and ensure they enjoy their time with me?
