Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've gained hands-on experience in several areas of animal care, including professional dog grooming, horse care and handling, and veterinary care. Working with animals in these different environments has taught me patience, confidence, and how to adapt to each animal's unique personality and needs. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large animals like horses. I'm comfortable recognizing stress signals, handling nervous or anxious animals, maintaining routines, administering basic care as instructed by owners, and making sure every pet feels safe and comfortable. I know every pet is a member of the family, and I treat them that way. Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, keeping them company during a drop-in visit, or simply providing a calm and reassuring presence while you're away, my goal is to make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and cared for just as you would care for them yourself. Your pet's safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities.

With experience in professional dog grooming, horse care, and veterinary settings, I'm comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, reducing stress, and handling pets with patience and compassion. I believe every pet deserves to be treated like a member of the family. I'll follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. Building trust with each animal is important to me, and I always let them become comfortable at their own pace. I also believe communication builds trust with pet parents. You'll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the same level of care I'd want for my own animals.

Alexis is an amazing care giver to a wide variety of pets. I have had her take care of some guinea pigs, a chinchilla, cats, dogs, and horses. She has cared for these pets while I was a way on a week vacation. I have never had any issues with her, and she is a kind and very attentive animal care giver.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the week. I do my best to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday requests whenever possible. I understand that every pet has a unique routine, and I'll work with you to maintain their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and companionship. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and prompt responses while your pet is in my care. My goal is to provide reliable, stress-free care that gives both you and your pet peace of mind.
