I work on weekends, so my availability is currently focused for weekday visits. However, if I’m given enough notice I might be able to care for your pets on the weekend as well. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

I’m attentive to behavior cues, maintain a calm and secure environment, and provide regular updates so owners feel confident and informed. I am not offering boarding/daycare services at this time. I am happy to care for pets in their own home where they feel safe and comfortable.

I should be informed of any medical history and conditions of your dog or cat in case of an emergency. I would also need to know if your pet has been vaccinated or had other fecal/heartworm testing done, so I could make sure they're safe when taking them on walks or to a dog park (with your permission). I do not have any breed preferences and every species is welcome.
A typical day
I have experience with bathing, walking, feeding, and administering medication/injections to dogs or cats who need it. Time spent includes feeding, walks or litter care, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I tailor activities to each pet’s energy level and personality.

Hi, I’m Alexis! I’m a life long animal lover who truly enjoys caring for pets of all personalities. My love for animals started at a young age and led me to gain hands-on experience working in veterinary settings, including emergency animal care. While I’m currently not working in the vet field and am pursuing a career in human medicine, caring for animals has remained a constant passion in my life. I have experience with both dogs and cats and understand how important it is to meet each pet where they’re at. My own pets all have very different personalities, which has made me comfortable caring for animals across the spectrum. I have a fear-aggressive dog, a very friendly dog, a high-energy cat, and a timid cat. I know that no two pets are the same and care should never be a one size fits all. Being a pet parent myself, I understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. I take that responsibility seriously and always strive to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I look forward to building lasting relationships with both pet owners and their animals.

Once again Alexis is outstanding!! You will not find a better pet sitter. She is so communicative and inquisitive asking important questions! She is so amazing with both cats and dogs and knowledgeable about them! My cats and dogs loooooove her. She is deeply caring and kind and you can trust her completely with your babies. She truly treats them with the utmost love and care. Highly highly recommend. I will never use another sitter because I don’t trust anyone else!!
Alexis was absolutely amazing. Where do I begin! She was so communicative and followed the instructions for our SIX CATS perfectly including multiple senior cats 10+ and a 15 year old kitty. She gave them so much love and attention and provided updates. I was so grateful because we felt we could enjoy our vacation to the fullest knowing our babies were happy and safe!! She is very experienced with dogs and cats with her background which also gave us peace of mind. She was so thorough with everything cleaning the litter, washing plates, washing water bowl and putting fresh water. She is a true animal lover and extremely dependable. Now that I have found her she will be our go to person because I finally found someone I can trust!! ❤️ thank you so much Alexis!
