I've grown up around and had a love for animals my whole life. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, you name it and I've probably helped take care of one at some point. I worked at a dog grooming and boarding facility caring for up to 35 dogs at a time, during the summers while I was in college. I have been house/pet sitting for family members and friends since I can remember. My husband and I are blessed to have two sweet pups of our own, a lab x boxer and a bully. We've also had 10 foster dogs over the years, while they waited for their forever homes. I love dogs and believe in always providing the best care possible for them.

Meet and Greets: Before any booking, I offer a complimentary meet and greet session. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, and for your pets to become comfortable with me. References and Reviews: I can provide references from previous clients who can vouch for my reliability and the quality of care I provide. Alexis was amazing with Dawson! It was our first time leaving him overnight and she was so communicative - shared photos and kept us posted. Dawson was a bit scared at the beginning and she was so patient with him, and they spent the whole day cuddling. We highly recommend Alexis and would love to have her take care of Dawson again.

Alexis was amazing with my dog, Banjoe! She was easy to communicate with, asked for clarification if she needed it, and was easy to adapt when needed. Banjoe was well taken care of and it was great to know he was with someone that truly loves animals. I also appreciated that she sent pictures--better ones than I take! I work a rotating weekday/weekend schedule that provides me with 15 days off a month with tons of availability during the week. It also means I have full availability on the days I don't work and some flexible availability on the days I do work.

Diet and Feeding Schedule: Provide a detailed feeding schedule, including portion sizes and specific feeding times. Dietary Restrictions: Inform me of any dietary restrictions or special diets your pet follows. Favorite Treats: Share any favorite treats and how often they can be given. Behavior and Temperament: Describe your pet’s temperament, including how they typically interact with new people and other animals. Behavioral Issues: Inform me of any behavioral issues or quirks, such as separation anxiety, fear of loud noises, or aggressive tendencies. Training and Commands: Provide information on any training your pet has received, including specific commands they know and respond to. Routine and Preferences Daily Routine: Share your pet’s typical daily routine, including preferred walking times, playtime, and rest periods.
