A Loving Home Away From Home
I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. I don’t have formal training or certifications, but I have years of hands on experience and genuinely love animals. I’m attentive to their individual personalities and needs, and I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and at home. For me, it’s less about simply looking after a pet and more about treating them like family.

I treat every pet as an individual and do my best to keep them comfortable and close to their normal routine. I’ll follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, and sleep routines, while giving them lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and downtime depending on what they enjoy. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and at home. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet’s routine stays as consistent as possible. I’ll always communicate with the owner and make sure I understand their pet’s needs and preferences before they’re in my care.

Alexis was great! Super communicative and sent lots of pictures of our puppy Alfie. I felt completely comfortable having her walk my dog and would happily have her do it again if I'm ever back in the area :)
I am so lucky I found Alexis (and her sweet dog Ranger!). Hatley was so well cared for and came home clearly having been comfortable and loved. I would recommend Alexis to anyone needing their lil pups looked after. She is the best, and all the pictures she sent put my mind at ease.
She is fantastic ! Lola absolutely loved her and came home happy and tired. You can really tell she genuinely loves dogs and takes great care of them. I felt completely comfortable knowing Lola was in such good hands. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

Alexis loves animals especially dogs and is very caring and gentle with them. She’s very attentive to them & the environment and keeps them safe in her care. She is very trustworthy and builds a good connection with the dogs & is always happy to see them. She is very responsible and pays special attention if the dogs need extra care like medication. Alexis likes to take photos of the dogs and connect with their owners showing they are safe & sound in her care so they do not have to worry about anything! She focuses on giving them exercise and keeping them calm & happy.
I can’t recommend Alexis enough! She is incredibly kind, trustworthy, dependable, and genuinely loves animals. I would feel completely at ease leaving my dog in her care, knowing they would be treated like one of her own. She’s attentive, responsible, and the type of person who will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Anyone would be lucky to have Alexis looking after their furry family member! 🐾❤️

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time at home with animals, so I’m happy to make time for regular walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of downtime. My schedule can vary from week to week, but I’m hoping to care for pets every now and then when it works well with my schedule. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s usual routine and give them the attention and care they’re used to.

- Before confirming a booking, I’d love to learn a bit more about your pet. Please tell me about their age, personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medical conditions or medications. I’d also like to know how they do around other dogs, strangers, and being left alone, as well as whether they are house trained, crate trained, or have any fears, anxieties, or behavioural concerns. Please let me know about any allergies, special instructions, or anything else that would help me make their stay safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. 🐾
