I have been caring for all types of fur babies for over 10 years. I have been apart of the Rover community for over 3 years. I have gained valuable animal care experience working at a veterinary hospital caring for patients for 5 plus years. The veterinary experience and education has made me comfortable with all animals and can easily adapt and learn your pets best care needs. When I come to take care of your fur babies I love to spend time playing with them, belly rubs or going for a walk. I would love to be able to walk them at the multiple trails in the area I’ve know since I lived here for 24 years. I love to interact with animals I have three kitties and one German shepherd puppy of my own that I adore so I am used to constantly moving. I am currently working but my schedule does vary but I am available for early morning/late night let outs, mid day walks or taking care of your pet in my own home on a rural area with a large backyard surrounded by trees! I am very flexible so I can accept last minute drop in requests or walks. When in your home I always come in respectfully my animal experience at work provides me with the behavioral knowledge to approach animals to make them comfortable! I would love to walk your fur baby or play with them while I am there making sure to clean up and leave your house just as your left it. Feel free to reach out with questions regarding rates or scheduling repeat visits I love to give my repeat clients discounts for future visits!

Alexis and her husband are kind people who are obvious animal lovers. I love that she only takes in one pet at a time to reduce my girl’s stress being away from home. My Russell loved playing with her kitties and I enjoyed the photo updates she provided—they treated my pup as their own. Very grateful for them and their help, this rebooking!
Another great stay!
Thank you Alexis for taking care of the Pavey household!! We have 4 cats including 1 elderly cat that needs a bit of special care. Alexis was there every day for 7 days twice a day and did a fantastic job of keeping them safe and loved. Vacation was very peaceful - this is the first time we used a pet sitting service and I will definitely be in touch in the future :)
Alexis is great! She communicates, sends pictures, is very flexible and I could just tell my girl Carmen felt like she was right at home. We will definitely ask her to take care of Carmen again.

Alexis took wonderful care of my 2 cats (one needing 3 different medications per day). Kept my mind as ease while away with the family. Will definitely be booking her again for our next vacation. Recommend her to anyone, especially if pet needs specific meds while away.

Schedule
Pet care is my full time job! My passion is working with animals so I am open to all suggestions I’ve worked with farm animals to reptiles. I do work at a veterinary clinic varying hours so I am easily flexible if your pet needs an earlier let out or a late one. The clinic provides me animal handling experience, behavior training and medication and disease management. I’m happy to provide your pet with their daily routine and advanced care if needed. I like to tell pet parents I am there for your pets needs either sitting on the floor playing or taking them on a walk I’m your girl!

Safety, trust & environment
I offer both boarding and client home services. I live in a very rural area with low traffic with a fenced front yard but always use a leash per client request regardless for safety reasoning. Toys, treats, special bowls, etc are always welcome to make your pet feel comfortable in my home! I treat pets as my own in my home they are allowed on the furniture, they can sleep where they please unless crate sleeping is required. I provide daily enrichment either by multiple walks/outside time and inside playtime as well. If your pet has certain needs or requests just let me know :). If it is the clients home I am very respectful cleaning up after the dog, taking out the trash and following instructions clearly on the pets needs. My time is focused on your pet keeping them comfortable and happy!

A typical day
I love to provide enrichment activities specialized to each dog or cats need. I also enjoy going for walks there is multiple beautiful trails within walking distance of me to provide fun stimulating walks for pups. I understand pets can become anxious when owners leave and I hope as a sitter I can provide them some relief and make them feel comfortable.
