I work full-time in the San Diego area and live in the IE. I am in San Diego 95% of the time, and can accept housesitting stays during the week or weekends. Drop-in visits and dog walking can fit in my schedule before and after my full-time job and I can always work with you to find a schedule that works best for your pet's routine. I will always tell you if my availability doesn’t work so you have the best chance of finding the perfect person for your pet’s care!

A typical day
My day depends on your pet's day. We'll get in their daily walks, have breakfast, play time, plenty of love. My first priority before leaving for the day will always be your pet's care and maintaining their routine. At the end of the day, I make sure they get their energy out, I follow their feeding schedule, and spend the evening together like the new best friends we are.

Hello! My name is Alexis and I grew up surrounded by animals. My parents rescued cats and taught me the importance of treating all animals with love, patience, and respect. I began dog-sitting in 2011 and gained experience in caring for dogs ranging from energetic puppies to elderly sweethearts, little chihuahuas to bulky pitties! I’ve dealt with endless energy and strong personalities. In my time on Rover, I’ve experienced all kinds of walkers - pullers, distracted pups, runners, etc. I love to stay active and truly enjoy adding a furry companion to the mix. I’m very detail-oriented and ensure I keep your furry friend in their routine while you’re gone. It’s important to me that you receive frequent updates and adorable photos. I have two cats of my own and know how much it matters to know your pet is in great hands. I’d love to meet your furry friend and be a fun part of their day as well as give you some peace of mind about your pet’s care.

Alexis is a fantastic dog sitter. She’s super communicative, and gives great updates. I came home to happy healthy senior pups. I really appreciate her whole style and patience.
Absolutely LOVED having Alexis watch our Nubbies (they are Corgi’s). She has amazing communication and will send you picture updates regularly. Kimchi and Wasabi absolutely adore and are thrilled when they see her. We don’t have any trips planned in the near future but if we do have one I will definitely be booking with Alexis if she is available!
Very happy we decided to use Alexis - she took great care of our multiple animals. She proactively communicated and sent us pics. It made for an stress-free weekend for us! Definitely recommend her!
