Experienced and loving pet sitter!
Animals have always been my greatest passion. To me, pets are family, and I believe they deserve the same love, patience, and care that we give our human loved ones. I’ve been caring for the pets of friends, family, neighbors, and my own since I was a child, and my passion for animal welfare has continued to grow throughout my life. I have professional experience as a doggy daycare attendant/animal handler, and I currently volunteer in the Animal Care department at my local zoo, where I help provide exceptional care for a variety of animals. My soul dog, Ty, was by my side for 16 wonderful years. Although he has passed, he remains my greatest inspiration and best friend. He taught me the unconditional love and devotion that animals give us, and he continues to motivate me to provide the very best care for every pet I meet. My family also has our 16 year old cat, Binx, two guinea pigs, two parakeets, and our 21-year-old aquatic turtle, so I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals and personalities. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and kind companion, I will cater to them and treat them with affection, attention, and respect. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your fur baby is safe, happy, and truly cared for while you’re away.

I always make sure to follow whatever specifications the family I am sitting for or walking for requests and follow any and all safety precautions. I am always looking out for the safety and happiness of any pets in my care. I am also trained in deescalating stressful or negative behaviors during my time as an animal handler.

Alexis is so great! She filled in very last minute when another sitter canceled and she’s been so great to my pup Annie. She sends lots of photos and is an excellent communicator! Looking forward to working with her again!
I could not ask for a better pet sitter than Alexis!! She was so reassuring and knowledgeable about about both my cat and my dog. She has cared for both of them many times. She is wonderful about communicating with me every time she is with them. Her passion for animals is evident, which allows you to have peace of mind and trust that you're leaving your pet in safe and loving hands! I would recommend Alexis a million times over!!!!
Alexis is the greatest, most loving pet parent I have ever experienced. She is the most compassionate person, and loves animals like her own family. I trust her with any animal. She always prioritizes the needs of pets, whether it’s her own, or someone else’s. I don’t think you could find a better animal caretaker.
