Please note that I do not take injured animals due to safety concerns. I’m 27 years old, my main hobby is going on adventures with my dog when I’m not working. Ive always had 1 or more animals in my household my entire life. I have a bachelors degree in Social Work. I’m a big animal lover with five fur kiddos of my own! Willing to adjust to any unique situations that come my way. Potty training, animals with anxiety/PTSD, older pets, you name it. Very caring and understanding. Willing to send pictures and constant updates to help you stay at ease while away from your pet! I am comfortable and experienced with administering oral medication (liquid/pill), injections such as insulin shots and IV fluids. Excited to meet your fur babies!

Alexis did an amazing job! We were nervous about leaving our dog with someone new, but she eased our minds. She was great about communicating with us about how things were going with pictures, videos and communicating about the visit. Cannot say enough good things about Alexis. She is definitely the best choice for a dog sitter.
Alexis did an amazing job during Tommy's first stay. The vibe of her home was super welcoming and Tommy settled right in. She kept me updated throughout the stay and took great care of my guy. Highly recommended!
Alexis took excellent care of our cat while we were out of town. We returned home to a happy cat! I really appreciated the pictures she sent. We have another trip planned so will definitely have Alexis return.

Alexis went above and beyond helping us feed our cats while we were out. She stepped up to hand medicate our sick cat, which we totally weren’t expecting. The cats seemed to really enjoy her company. So grateful for the peace of mind knowing my cats were fed and medicated. Alexis rules.

Schedule
I do work roughly 1-4 hours outside of my home a few days throughout the week. I do have cameras in the house and am able to frequently keep an eye on pets that are boarding. Otherwise, I am home! For drop ins, please allow flexibility on times (I usually discuss this prior).

In my home: all pets are treated like family! My space is calm and quiet 100% of the time. There is a big fenced in back yard for them to explore. Feces are picked up after each stay for health/safety for all pets. In your home: I approach with kindness and space. I let them decide if they need more space/time or are ready to cuddle and play!

A typical day
My home is a very laidback space. Most of the time is spent in the backyard (weather permitting) for sniff and play time. Walks around the block, playing with toys inside, etc. in your home: whatever they are used to/love to do :)
