Growing up on a 30-acre farm in the Appalachian mountains, I gained invaluable hands-on experience caring for a diverse array of animals, including but not limited to salamanders, fish, and weasels, as well as rabbits, dogs, cats, birds, chickens, horses, cattle, and goats. In addition, I have volunteered with local animal rescues, where I’ve had the privilege of fostering and house training numerous pets. Integrating animals into my daily life is not just a job, it’s a dream come true. I am dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate care that is tailored to meet the individual needs of each pet. I offer in-home pet care services, ensuring your pet remains in a familiar, comfortable environment. I approach each animal with the same love and attention as I would my own, regardless of their breed, size, or health status. Alexis stayed in our home while we were away vacationing for the past week. She took amazing care of our dog and 2 cats while we were gone. It was kind of amazing, actually - every time I thought, “I wonder how the pets and Alexis are doing,” I’d get an update from her within the hour!
