I am an alumni at DePaul University and am a third year medical student at Rosalind Franklin. My schedule is very random and flexible and same with my partners for working from home. Therefore dog sitting fits perfectly into my schedule.

Im currently a 3rd year in medical school. I had a 15 year old dog mixed with 4 breeds: chihuahua, border collie, Shetland sheepdog, and Manchester terrier in one! Unfortunately, he past in June 2023, so I have been missing him. I live with my partner and we both lost our dogs in the past 3 years so we both crave being around dogs and caring for them. We have a house in McKinley park area. I would love to take your dog on a walk or have them drop in. I definitely have seen all sides to my dog and know how to care for an older and younger dogs need of a wide range of breeds. My family has always had dogs around such as a lab, bullmastive, dachshund, golden retriever, and etc. so I am very versatile and love every dog I encounter:)

Alexis and Max took wonderful care of our beagle for 9 days, and kept us updated with lots of pics. We could tell our dog felt safe and loved in their home.

Alexis was an amazing host for my two dogs! She welcomed them into her home with arms wide open, she communicated well throughout their stay and sent plenty of photos, I can tell my babies felt safe and comfortable with her and her partner!
Would 10/10 recommend Lexi! This was the longest I’ve been away from my dog in the 5 years I’ve had her at nearly a month while I was traveling overseas. Lexi figured out the best way to communicate with time zone differences and me having limited WiFi and I received so many heart warming photos. Not only did she care for Ella, but she loved her like her own which brought a lot of reassurance when I was bit homesick for her. We hope to see Lexi again in the future!
