Every pet has their own unique personality and routine, and I want to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. Before our first booking, I'd love to learn what makes your pet happiest and how I can provide the best care possible. To help with that, I offer a complimentary 20–30 minute meet-and-greet before your first booking. It's a great opportunity for us to meet, for your pet to get comfortable with me, and for us to go over their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, medications (if applicable), and any other important details. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and make sure we're a great fit. During our meet-and-greet, it would be helpful to discuss: Your pet's daily routine, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, and exercise Favorite toys, treats, and activities Any medications, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions Behavioral quirks, fears, or triggers Commands or training cues you use Your veterinarian's contact information and emergency contacts Any household instructions you'd like me to know, such as parking, keys, alarms, or entry instructions The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide personalized care and help your pet feel safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I always tailor my care to fit their normal routine. Whether I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, taking your dog on a walk, or staying overnight, my priority is helping your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. During each visit, I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention. I'll also reinforce any routines you've established, whether that's practicing basic commands, sticking to a medication schedule, or simply providing quiet companionship for a more reserved pet. You'll receive photo updates and a detailed summary after every visit so you can relax knowing exactly how your pet is doing. I believe clear communication is just as important as great pet care, and I'll always treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would my own.

Hi! I'm Alexis, and I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. Whether I'm stopping by for a walk, keeping your cat company while you're away, or staying overnight in your home, my goal is always the same - to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're gone. I've been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic huskies to laid-back pugs and cocker spaniels. I also have years of experience caring for cats and understand that every pet has their own unique routine and personality. Outside of Rover, I work full-time in a leadership role where reliability, communication, and attention to detail are essential every day. You can count on me to follow your instructions carefully, keep your home secure, arrive when expected, and treat your pets like family.
