I am a substance abuse and mental health counselor, graduated with my Master’s from ECU in 2019. I love dogs. Love them. I have had dogs my entire life. I have fourteen years of experience caring for as well as training numerous puppies and older dogs. I have trained / helped train three puppies in the last six years, one of which is my own. I am happy to reinforce any training/rules that you have set or are trying to establish. I will provide lots of attention, pets, cuddles, play, and exercise as your pups want and need. My pup loves all other dogs and will be a happy playmate! I work during the week and am home all day on weekend. I’ll do my best to cater to your needs and to those of your pup. We go on walks often, and also run. I am happy to communicate with you about your dog's exercise (and other) needs and will provide as many updates and pictures as you like.

Alexis was great with Rosie! She was able to help me out with a last minute schedule change. She played in the yard with Rosie and sent multiple pictures as well ? Rosie looked like she had a blast!
Alexis was awesome. She kept me updated and informed, even sent me pictures. She managed an incident with another dog very professionally and made appropriate and timely notifications.
We have had Alexis care for our dogs while we were out of town on many occasions. They all absolutely love her. Alexis not only takes exceptional care in feeding them and meeting their varying activity needs, from the puppy to our "old girl," but she has a good knowledge of training and is able to reinforce their training and commands. We leave at ease and confident they are in good hands and come home to happy, healthy and well behaved dogs. Alexis is a gem!
