I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats across the lifespan from neonatal to hospice care. I have experience caring for animals with medical needs and disabilities, including but not limited to incontinence care and administering medications (oral, injectable, transdermal, IV), and blood glucose monitoring. I have 5 cats and a dog of my own. I actively foster and rescue animals and continue to expand my experience and knowledge on caring for animals. I would be honored to help care for your furbabies! 🐾

Alexis has watched my pets for years, including my dog, cats (one of which is paralyzed and needs her bladder expressed), and guinea pig. She has also helped me many times with my foster animals, many of which need specialized or more specific care (a senior hospice foster dog on many medications, kittens, adult/senior cats with numerous medical needs, etc.) I can put my full trust in her knowing they are all going to be taken care of properly and are in great hands. Alexis has a lot of experience with owning and fostering pets and is extremely knowledgeable about all things pet care. She is great with giving medications and follows my annoyingly long list of instructions thoroughly. Not only that, but she is extremely reliable and is always there when she says she will be. She goes above and beyond with keepings things clean and tidy as well. I cannot recommend her enough!
Alexis is the best!! My cat Sooki is medically complex and she took care of her while I was away for a week. She gave her all her meds on time and sent updates. Sooki is also very anxious and shy around people but they seemed like they had the best time. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Alexis!!!
Alexis is a fantastic pet mommy. She loves her pets, which is evident in the care she provides for them. She also is skilled with cats with special needs such as needing their bladders manually released. Alexis is a great pet sitter because she took the time to really get to know what my cats love and how to best care for them and play with them.

Schedule
I work as a clinical therapist in the hospital setting on the weekends. I have open availability during the weekdays, and can also be available early morning or late evening on the weekends.
