Hey there! My name’s Lexy. I have a German Shepherd Dog and two brothers who are pit mixes (rescued their mom off the streets of Detroit before she surprised us by giving birth to 5 healthy pups while we were away at work) who are full of positive and playful energy, just like myself. I have been getting jobs through Rover for over 8 years now and have loved every minute of it! I’ve been vegan for 12+ years and involved in animal activism for 11 years. I love ALL animals, but caring for dogs and cats is what I'm best at and most familiar with🙂 I’ve grown up around them and have always been the “go to girl” when family and friends need someone to look after and care for their fur kids. So, if you’re someone who’s busy and looking for help during the week or you need someone to come by &/or stay while you're out of town, help me help you by allowing me to care for your fur child(ren)!😊❤️🐶

How do you care for pets in your client's home? It differs with every client. I learn and follow the routine and instructions that I’m given to the very best of my abilities. Some of my clients who I’ve worked for since i started on here go as far to say that i know their routine better than they do at this point 😂

Alexis was wonderful! She came out to meet my girls about a week before the sit so she would know them and they would know her. She kept in touch with me through the sit by sending pics and video of the dogs. I absolutely will use her again!

Alexis was amazing. Alexis's care of Bogey allowed me to know he was safe, secure and loved while I was gone. I received several pics of his walk and he was even brushed. Alexis spent 30 minutes with me going over Bogey's care before I went on vacation. I knew she passionate and sincere about caring for our loved family members. I give Alexis 5 stars and highly recommend her for your pet's needs.

How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly routine? I started using Rover as a way to make a little extra money while getting to hangout with cute pups but it didn’t take long for it to become my full time job.
