I work part-time with a flexible, varying schedule, which allows me to fit in plenty of time for pet care during the week. I’m available for check-ins, walks, and pet sitting outside of work hours. I’ve also recently applied to master’s programs and look forward to continuing to make pet care a meaningful part of my routine alongside my studies.

Beyond caring for my own pets, I have experience providing care for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and needs through family, friends, and word-of-mouth referrals. I’ve done everything from walks and meal time to bath time and giving medication (sometimes with a little persuasion and a lot of treats)! I am also an active volunteer with Saving Hope Rescue, which has strengthened my knowledge, reliability, and passion for animal care.

I have known Alexis most of her life, watching her grow up with my kids. She has always been a kind, gentle soul who loves animals and cares deeply for them. She has had many of her own pets and in recent years has been involved with foster care and advocacy for animals. She has cared for my animals on a few occasions when I was out of town, and my animals love her. I highly recommend her and am confident any animal will feel right at home with her and the pet moms and dads will leave feeling confident in their choice for a care giver.
I hired Lexi to watch my dogs based on a recommendation from a friend who has known her for several years. I have two Chihuahuas—one is older and doesn’t allow anyone except us to touch her, and the other is younger and has severe separation anxiety. I hired Lexi several times when I was out of town and my boyfriend was at work so that someone could stay with them during the day. Within just 15 minutes of meeting them, Lexi sent me a picture of my older Chihuahua lying on the couch next to her leg and my younger Chihuahua curled up beside her on the other side. Seeing how quickly they warmed up to her immediately put me at ease. We had no issues while I was away, and I felt completely comfortable knowing my dogs were in caring and capable hands. Lexi was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a natural way with animals. I highly recommend Lexi to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!
