Please let me know if your pup has any special needs or physical restrictions. I am able to administer medication if needed. Due to the Florida heat this time of year, I am extremely cautious. Please understand that your dogs health and safety is my top priority - I try my best to avoid pavement and I will end walks early if I feel that your pup can’t handle the heat! In that case I will spend extra time with your pup indoors or in the shade playing.

I don't have any special places I like to go on walks, but I would be happy to explore new places with the dogs I watch. I would also be happy to take them to places that they are familiar with, such as their favorite park. The most important thing is to make sure that the dogs are having fun and getting exercise. I would tailor the activities to the individual dog's needs and interests. For example, if a dog is very energetic, I would plan more active activities like fetch or a long walk (in the heat it’s better to schedule long 1+ hr exercise walks early in the morning). If a dog is more laid-back, I would plan more leisurely activities like going for a sniff walk in the park. I am confident that I can provide the dogs I watch with a fun and enriching experience. I am a dog lover and I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am also a patient and understanding person, and I would be happy to work with each dog to find activities that they enjoy.

I am experienced with breeds of all sizes. I have owned and cared for several large breeds myself, and I know how to handle them with confidence and respect. I am patient and gentle with all animals, but I especially enjoy working with rescue pups. I know how to give them the exercise and attention they need, understand that sometimes rescues need extra patience, and I am always up for a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. I am available 24/7, so I can always be there for your pet when you need me. I have excellent communication skills, so I will keep you updated on your pet's progress and let you know if there are any concerns. I am confident that I can provide your pup with the love, attention, and care they deserve. If you are looking for a pet sitter or walker who is experienced with breeds (both large and small) while being committed to providing the highest level of care, I would be honored to be your choice.

Alexis is amazing! I was in a real pinch trying to find someone to sit my pet and home while traveling in an emergency. Alexis not only took good care of my dog, she gave me updates and sent pictures so I knew she was being properly cared for. When I arrived home, I had one very happy/ non- stressed pup which is very important to me since she is a rescue with some trust issues. I feel very confident leaving my doggy best friend in Alexis’ care!
I highly recommend Alexis as a pet caregiver. She is responsible, loving, and knowledgeable about animals. She took great care of my dogs, Takoda and Otto , while I was away. She sent me regular updates about their activities, and both dogs always seemed happy and well-cared for when I returned. I would not hesitate to hire Alexis again to care for my pets.
