Hello! My name is Alexis. Growing up, I helped my mom take care of our six dogs. With that being said, I am comfortable around most dog breeds (sorry, no pitbulls!) and know basic dog handling techniques. I feel dogs communicate with humans with their eyes, sounds, and body language--they have needs and feelings just like us. As such, I treat all dogs with respect and always aim to make them feel loved as much as possible using a soothing voice and approachable body language. I hope to meet your furry friend soon!

Alexis did a great job with our pups while we were away. She spent lots of time with them and regularly sent us pictures of them relaxing and playing. It’s clear they were happy and content. I would definitely recommend Alexis.

Alexis did a wonderful job taking care of our pets while we were on vacation. Sadly, our oldest dog (14 years old) passed away during her care (he just died in his sleep), but Alexis handled the situation with such kindness and compassion. She called me to gently inform me of what happened, giving me time to grieve before sharing more details. Although this was her first experience with a pet passing under her care, she communicated everything clearly and compassionately. She allowed me to process my emotions and assured me to reach out when I was ready to discuss next steps. Alexis also stayed with our other dog until we could make arrangements to come home early from our vacation. She was incredibly gracious throughout the entire situation and handled everything with the utmost care.

Schedule
I work mostly from home Monday through Friday so I can hang out with your pups during the day while you’re away! However, Friday and Saturday evenings I work a few hours at a restaurant. We can discuss details in advance and if I have enough time I might be able to get those nights off!
