My home is a calm, pet-friendly space where safety and comfort come first. While I don’t have a yard, there’s an open field directly across the street as well as a walking path nearby, providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor time and exercise. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special instructions. Pets are supervised, introduced slowly when needed, and never left in unsafe situations. I maintain a clean environment, secure doors and windows, and provide a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of attention and affection so pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home.

I appreciate details about potty routines, walking preferences, leash manners, and whether your pet is crate-trained. For cats, please share litter habits and preferences. Emergency vet information and contact details are also important. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother, safer, and happier the experience will be for your pet.
A typical day
A typical day with pets in my care is a mix of fun, routine, and lots of love. We start with potty breaks and a walk or play session to burn off energy and start the day happy. Depending on your pet’s personality, this could mean a sniff-filled walk, fetch, tug, or outside zoomies. Throughout the day, I include mental enrichment like puzzle toys, basic command practice, and interactive games, along with plenty of cuddles and one-on-one attention. I follow feeding schedules closely, give medications or supplements if needed, and make sure fresh water is always available. Downtime is just as important, so we balance activity with calm moments like lounging, napping, or relaxing together. Every pet’s day is personalized to their energy level, age, and comfort, so they feel safe and at home. I also send regular updates and photos so you can see all the fun your pet is having while you’re away.

I’ve been caring for animals since I was 13 and have hands-on experience with a wide range of pets, temperaments, and routines. I’ve grown up around pets my entire life and am comfortable with daily care such as feeding, litter and potty routines, basic medication, and recognizing animal behavior to ensure comfort and safety. I currently have two loving, well-socialized cats who are friendly with dogs, giving me regular experience managing a calm, multi-pet environment.

We asked Alexis to come over for four consecutive days to feed, check on everything, and spend a little time with our kitty while we were away. She did an excellent job and went above and beyond. We are very satisfied with Alexis. Our cat is very sociable with strangers, so we knew that she would greet her and seek attention. She played with her, fed her, and even sent plenty of pictures. Everything was in order upon our return home and we know our cat was taken care of. Again, highly recommend!
