Hi, I'm Alexis! I have over 15 years in caring for all sorts of animals. I have grown up as an animal lover and have owned dogs, cats, horses, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits and more since I was little. My grandparents had a farm. :) Experienced in administering medication, bottle feeding babies, puppies, kittens, seniors, special needs. I have a large fenced in backyard that provides a substantial amount of shade. Includes a doggy pool (removable), mister, tunnels, toys and more. Inside, pets are welcome to make themselves at home. Furniture, bed. :) I have a few different water fountains running at all times, various size dog beds and every type of toy you can imagine. Along with puzzle and scent games. I live in a great walking neighborhood, close to trails and other outdoor activities. I would love the opportunity to look after your beloved pets! I'm home full time - you can rest assured your pet will be in good hands. I adore animals and all the joy and potential chaos that comes with them! I currently have a 4 year old friendly and extremely spoiled pug who think she's part cat.

Alexis was absolutely amazing with Church and Eerie! I was a little nervous leaving them for such a long trip, especially because Church is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day, but she made me feel completely comfortable. She followed all of his care instructions perfectly and sent me updates every single day with photos and videos, which I really appreciated. Both dogs clearly became very comfortable with her, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them and got to know their individual personalities. She was also incredibly flexible when we ended up extending our trip multiple times at the last minute. 😂 I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I felt completely confident that they were safe, happy, and well cared for the entire time. We will absolutely book with Alexis again and I would recommend her without hesitation!
Alexis will treat your pup like her own! Every picture I got, my pup was obviously having the time of her life playing in the fenced-in back yard with the other dogs, doing puzzles, or snuggling with Alexis and Ollie after a long day of play. Great communication and professionalism as well. Will recommend her to anyone who will listen!
Toni always has so much fun with Alexis! She does a great job keeping us updated, and we know that Toni is getting the best care all day.
Alexis is fantastic. This is the second time Charlie has stayed with her, and it won’t be the last. She’s great at communicating and sending updates and pictures throughout the stay. Charlie is in good hands when he is with her!
Alexis is a gentle soul who really adores dogs and my sweet Avery. She gave her so much attention, care and tenderness. She treated my dog like her own and was so attentive to all of her needs. She sends lots of updates and photos which made my day. Thank you for being the best dog sitter.

Schedule
I'm based at home and my schedule is flexible. Day, night I can make it. I'm free on weekends and Holidays as well. My day depends entirely on your pets needs. :)

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs: I have a fenced backyard, with a dog for company and a secondary gate once entered for additional safety. Cats: Large glass windows, great sunbathing spots, have numerous cats beds/huts, towers, scratch posts, toys, and more. Cats can be kept entirely separate from the dogs I'm watching or potentially arrange for me to accept no other bookings during the reservation. Can also be kept separate from my pug. I have gates she can't get through. I have numerous cats beds/huts, towers, scratch posts, toys, and more.
Pets
A typical day
I love to make sure animals I'm looking after get exercised both mentally and physically. From interactive walks, playing fetch, tug, hide/sniff/ training. My day depends on the dogs I have and all the personalities that comes with them. If I'm told a dog is high energy, I adjust to give them the best day. Or if they are more chill and prefer cuddles on the couch.

- All attitudes welcome. I adore animals that are friendly right away and ones that need a little more time and patience. Also happy to reinforce the training they are experiencing at home or help learn new commands. Great to know the likes and dislikes of your dog. Commands you prefer, attitude and behaviors, things to look out for, ex: food or toy possessive, reactivity, excessive barking, destruction behavior, incontinence, etc. Favorite toy, possible need to keep to established schedule of your pet, favorite games, places to be pet. Also best how to approach your pet on introduction.
