I’m currently still a student! But I have Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends for the most part completely open! Otherwise, I will make sure to check in on your pets between classes to ensure they don’t go more than four hours alone.

I can’t have a pet in my apartment right now 😭 but when I’m back home in Alaska, we had a fenced area for our dog while she was still with us, and we have two full-time indoor cats. We love to spoil our animals - lots of love, kindness, and a patient environment. Just positive reinforcement and steady routines over here!

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets longer than I can remember - from helping grandma with her horses and barn cats to spoiling and training our own dachshund puppy and two amazing kitties - I am well equipped for any situation. Some background for me: I was born and raised in Alaska! There I took care of cats of varying abilities/disabilities/age, dogs of all sizes and abilities/disabilities/age, and fish! There’s been instances where I have stayed over a month to look over a special needs cat, and dug my car out after a heavy snow to make sure a hyper puppy gets a good hike in! I’m adaptable and communicative - you can be sure that I’ll send you plenty of photos and videos of your pet while you’re gone! Now I’m here in Minnesota to finish college, start life with my new husband, and take care of the pets in Southern Minnesota!

We had a wonderful experience with our dog walker while she stayed at our home. She was reliable, responsible, and clearly cared for our dog and our home as if they were her own. Communication was great, and we always felt at ease knowing everything was being handled. On the one occasion she wasn’t able to be there, she made sure to arrange dependable coverage, which we truly appreciated. We came home to a happy dog and a well-cared-for house. We would absolutely recommend her and would gladly have her help us again.
My husband and I went to Australia for five weeks and Alexis stayed at our home and took care of our cat, Rawr. Not only did she do the basics of feeding him and cleaning his box, but she spent time with him and loved on him and sent us pictures of him. He was loved and cared for the way we would have and that made our trip so much less stressful. Alexis is kind and considerate and loves animals. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter!
