Alexis is wonderful! She handled a large task with all 4 of our dogs, and did a great job! We loved seeing the photos and updates during our trip! She was excellent at communicating and we will definitely use her again!

I met Alexis when she came to our house to meet Us and our pets. Alexis took notes as I gave her instructions on feeding, medication and getting around the house. I was very impressed with Alexis as she showed sincere interest and friendliness to our pets. I was very happy with the care of my pets as I have a very active and anxious dog and 2 very different cats. Alexis was very patient ...

Alexis was on time and made sure to ask questions to understand what was required to take care of our puppies. She did a fantastic job taking care of them and we will be looking to have her pet sit again!

Patient Pet Sitter

Hello! I'm Alexis, and I am looking to start pet sitting in and around the towns of Zebulon, Wendell, and Knightdale. I am available for check-ins, dog walks, and if you need someone to take and/or pick up your pup from the vet, groomer, etc. I can also do overnights, however, I will not be available for these all the time as I will need to be sure someone is home to watch my ...

What Alexis would like to know about your dog

Working at an animal hospital has given me an abundance of knowledge on breeds and temperaments of different animals. I've learned many techniques on how to handle aggressive or anxious dogs and cats. Meet and Greets will be a requirement for me because in most cases, it makes pet sitting 100% easier. That way, when I come in and take over your pet's daily schedule, it won't be a total shock for them to see me, rather than a stranger. I love small dogs, like yorkies or dachsunds, but I also love the bigger breeds like Anatolian shepherds and Labradors. I really have no bias towards any breed and can handle any pet, just let me know ahead of time if they are aggressive or owner-protective.

Having a full-time job already, pet parents will like to know how my pet sitting schedule works. If it is a working day for me, I get up around 6:00am, or earlier if needed, go to the house I am sitting for, let the pups out, feed, then let them out one more time before heading off to work. Then as soon as I get off work, I head straight back to the house, let the dogs out, do any errands (such as getting the mail, watering the flowers, cleaning up, text pictures for the pet parents, etc), let the dogs out again, then head home. I always do a nightly visit as well- feeding, potty breaks, and maybe some playtime. On my days off, I spend just as much time over at the pet sitter's home, if not more. I like to do activities like going to dog parks, walking in your neighborhood if available, playing fetch or tug-o-war, teaching tricks if I'm able to, and any other fun things you can think of! It does seem like a busy schedule, but I do understand how it is being on vacation and worrying about one's fur babies. If you have any more questions about my schedule or any requests, please feel free to ask!
