Pet care experience
JBER Pet-Sitter (dog and cat)
I grew up on a ranch, which gave me the opportunity to care for many different animals. I have since shifted that care to only cats and dogs. I’ve been a goldendoodle owner for 8+ years, and if you know doodles, you know they’re high maintenance. I bring with me deep empathy and love for your pet while you’re gone. I’ve chosen to sit/drop in exclusively on JBER, as I know the unique challenges that come with finding a sitter on base.

Lexi is great at communication and my pets really enjoyed the quality time with her while we were on vacation. We received photos from each visit and our cat and dog loved having her come by and just spend time with them daily helped so much while we were gone.
Alexis was amazing! She sent plenty of updates of our fur babies while we were gone. I will use her again as my regular sitter.

Schedule
I’m currently a full time graduate student, and for the time-being, I do my schoolwork from home. I will likely be hanging out on your couch doing homework for the majority of my stay, giving me the flexibility to love-bomb and play with your fur baby. I will do my very best to keep your pets on their routine, limiting the stress they may experience in your absence. I will be sure to send you as many pictures as you’d like. *I myself am a helicopter dog-mom so, I get it.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
Because I have an older dog of my own, I want to keep his space his in our home. I am available for house-sitting in your home (I have base access), and for drop-ins (playtime/potty break). I keep my space clean and will do the same in your home, and will pick up after your pet as specified. I ask that I’m able to meet you and your pet together before I begin the house/dog sit, as well as for drop ins, just so they know they can trust me!
Pets
A typical day
I like to meet pets where they’re at, whether that be low or high energy! As I myself do have some anxiety, I’m hesitant to say that I’ll be offering dog-walking services, but I love engaging in play with pets inside the home or in a yard.
