I love all pets like they're my own
I've been caring for animals since I was young, starting with my own pets and branching out to petsit for friends and family. I spent 7 years volunteering for the Humane Society and local dog shelter where I was able to work with cats of all personalities and dogs of all sizes. I'm comfortable caring for animals across their full lifespan and rescued my own puppy when he was just 8 weeks old! I am very passionate about an animal's full enrichment, so my care emphasizes a good balance of exercise, mental enrichment, and rest.

Highly recommend Alexis! She took good care of my two needy kitties. Alexis is very easy to communicate with and responsive to our messages. We had multiple unexpected situations that needed her help: (1) my plants grew slower than expected and we couldn’t send them to our friends’ place so we asked Alexis to take extra care of them and they survived! (2) we had an unexpected large FedEx delivery that Alexis helped us put inside our apartment safely and securely. (3) our returning flight was delayed so we had to tell Alexis last minute to add extra food& water for the kitties and thankfully she checked the message and responded in time and our kittens didn’t need to starve! Very thankful for Alexis’ help so that we can travel without worry :)

Schedule
My husband and I make pet sitting a team effort so that each pet gets reliable care and company 24/7. We’re available for boarding throughout the week and on weekends. He works from home with a very flexible schedule, so he’s free throughout the day for walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I work just around the corner from our home and can pop in during the day as needed. In the evenings and on weekends, one of us is always available so that your pets are never left without attention. If you prefer drop-in visits in your own home, I’m available early in the morning before work and in the late afternoon/evenings.

I have one dog and one cat at home to keep your fur baby company, but there is enough space in our home to separate all animals if preferred. I can easily crate your dog if requested but animals are welcome to rest on the couch and bed. We have an open yard in the back to allow regular, supervised potty breaks, as well as a fenced-in park in the neighborhood that is typically empty for play time. There are also plenty of uncrowded walking trails nearby that my own pup loves.

A typical day
A typical day with us is calm, fun, and full of enrichment. Our mornings usually start with a walk to get everyone moving and sniffing before I go to work. There are mid-day adventures with my husband which may include another walk, dedicated playtime, or training practice. Evenings might include one more stroll in the neighborhood with lots of cuddles and rest afterwards. We tailor each day to what your pet enjoys most, blending exercise with mental enrichment and relaxation.
