Happy home for happy pups <3
As a pet owner myself, I've had lots of experience caring for dogs, both my own as well as friends and neighbors. I have experience with training - my own dog has his own strict regimen - so I can help continue any training that your dog is working on. Training methods differ and I'm happy to learn whatever you have been working on with your dog so I can keep their learning consistent. My dog has chronic kidney disease (this is not contagious of course) which requires administration of oral medication. He has a specialized diet made completely from scratch at home. Through this, I have lots of experience to help for any dogs who need medication or specialized diets. I’ve also been a foster to a dog for Jet Wag Rescue and looking forward to do more in the future.

Alexis was amazing. She took our puppy, who had never been away from us, and made her feel very comfortable for four days. She had super fast response times and sent lots of photos. She was also awesome at problem solving when our pup was unhappy. Thank you Alexis!!!

Alexis was incredible with our pups. She gave them a lot of play time and care, great long walks as well. It was a long day with them but she didn't mind, and gave them ample amount of attention. You can just tell when your dogs are happy and well...ours definitely are! Thank you so much!
Alexis is an amazing sitter. Our dog had not previously boarded or had any outside care: Alexis made sure he was an appropriately acclimated and helped him through the separation. She provided great tips to transition Leo to fresh food, made sure he had great playtime with other dogs and took him out on lengthy walks to make sure he stayed active. I would not hesitate to book Alexis again!

Schedule
I work a fully remote job from home and have a flexible schedule for your dog or cat’s care needs. I normally do a walk morning, evening (often a dog park visit), and night.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs staying with me will get to play with my own dog, Bentley. He loves all dogs and is happy to share his toys and water bowl. Dogs are allowed to enjoy the furniture at my house, namely the couch and bed. Dogs are walked outside multiple times a day as needed and can enjoy walks through the lovely Back Bay Fens here in Fenway.

A typical day
I have a ton of indestructible dog toys that I maintain for my dog’s use that he is happy to share. I also have lots of dog toys that are treat dispensing, are puzzling, and keep dogs active, both physically and mentally. Lick mats and a toy dispensing kibble are very popular in this household. Regardless of the weather, dogs can enjoy walks around the neighborhood and through local parks. We also have a large private deck; my dog often spends a few hours sunning outside.
