I have cared for animals the majority of my life. In a personal as well as professional capacity. Previously, I worked for a dog daycare/boarding facility in northern Virginia which allowed me to work with dogs of different sizes and temperament. I have volunteered on and off over the years at various shelters and ranches. I currently have a certificate of completion to be a Veterinary Assistant and am looking forward to continuing my education in animal care.

I have a large non-fenced backyard with a 100’ dog lead. I do supervise while my dog is on the lead to ensure their safety.

Alexis is an animal lover to her core. Whether it's the exceptional care she gives her own animals or the knowledgeable and dedicated care she gives to others, she always puts in 100% of her effort and heart. There are very few people I would trust to watch and take care of my two dogs, but Alexis is at the top of that list. Beyond her whole-hearted love of animals, she also has background knowledge in the health and wellness of animals, which gives me added peace of mind whenever my dogs are with her. She is conscientious, mindful, loving, responsible, and dedicated in her care of animals, and I have never once doubted that my dogs are in great hands when they are with her!
Alexis has watched and walked my dog Zoe and has always been great. She’s very caring and truly loves animals, and they seem to love her right away. She always sends updates after walks so I know how everything went, which I really appreciated. She’s also great with dogs and even helped introduce Zoe to a friend’s dog when I was nervous about it. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and kind to care for their pets.

Schedule
I work full time from home which allows me the freedom to care for my own fur babies without issue. My evenings and weekends leave me open to care for your fur babies!
