Pet care fits into my routine naturally because I already care for my own dogs every day. Feeding, walks, training time, and enrichment are part of my regular schedule, so adding another pup into that flow feels easy and intentional. I am a law student in my final year, which means my schedule is much more flexible now. I am usually available in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, and I have even more availability on weekends for longer walks, park trips, or extra attention. Since I already build pet care into my daily routine, it is simple for me to adjust to your dog’s needs. Whether your pup needs structured activity or a calm companion to relax with, I can create the routine that keeps them comfortable and cared for.

When I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my first priority is comfort, safety, and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. Every dog is different, so I take time to learn their schedule, feeding habits, potty timing, sleep preferences, and energy levels. If your dog is used to morning walks, enrichment time, or cuddles before bed, I keep that rhythm the same so they feel secure. In my home, dogs get walks in the morning and evening, plenty of play and sniff time throughout the day, and a cozy space to relax when they want downtime. I keep water fresh, rotate toys for enrichment, and provide a calm environment that feels like a second home. I supervise closely, especially during introductions and transitions, and I give dogs the space they need to settle in and feel comfortable. If I am in your home, I follow your rules fully. I respect boundaries, furniture rules, crate expectations, feeding instructions, and any training you are currently working on. I clean up after pets, monitor behavior, and make sure your home is treated with care. I send updates, pictures, and check-ins regularly so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is always the same. I treat your pet the way I treat mine, with attention, patience, love, and routine. Whether you prefer in-home care or care in your home, your dog will be safe, understood, and well loved.

What sets me apart is that I am not just a sitter, I am a dog mom myself. I currently have a puppy at home, so I am actively learning, training, and supporting a dog through every new stage. I understand potty training, crate routines, teething, leash work, socialization, and managing all the big feelings that come with growing up. I have patience, structure, and a calm presence that helps pups feel secure. I also live with and care for an adult dog, so I know how to support more mature pups as well. Adult dogs often have different needs than puppies, whether that is mental enrichment, slow paced walks, or just steady company. I adjust my care based on age, personality, and comfort levels so every dog feels understood and respected. Because I work with my own dogs daily, I understand how much consistency, routine, and love matter. I take time to learn what your dog enjoys, what comforts them, and what keeps them happy and relaxed. My goal is always to treat your fur baby the same way I treat mine. Whether your dog is young and curious or grown and wise, I am prepared to meet them where they are and provide care that makes them feel safe, stimulated, and loved.

I was out of town for vacation for a couple of days and Alexis did a great job taking care of my 8 month old Husky, Oreo. She was very communicative and caring! I will definitely call her the next time I’m out of town.
I just wanted to remind you of the following message: Can’t say enough about how great Alexis was with Azure :) This was the first time leaving Azure alone, and we were hesitant to have anyone new look after her. Alexis’s warmth and love of animals were apparent from our first meeting. She house-sat for one weeks and kept us in the loop about everything going on. She spoiled Azure rotten, and I know I will be asking her back if I ever need someone again. Do not have any hesitation in asking her to look after your pets. Triple A rating :) Awesome, Amazing, and Approachable!!
