Alexis was kind to our dog, but unfortunately our experience was very stressful. During her housesitting stay, an emergency plumbing issue occurred that ultimately caused us to end our vacation 3 days early, coordinate emergency repairs remotely (for two of our five vacation days), and incur significant unexpected costs. We also missed important family events because of the situation. Considering we would not have canceled the remaining days had the plumbing issue not occurred during her stay, enforcing the cancellation policy for days when no housesitting services were ultimately provided felt unreasonable and lacking empathy. I understand this is a business, but the handling of the situation was very disappointing.

Alexis was fantastic in many ways. I had another sitter cancel last minute on me, and she stepped in with less than 24 hours before my flights and not only came out to meet me and my dog t ensure compatibility, but promptly reassured me she had everything under control and she did. She is very sweet, took great care of my elderly dog, stays in communication throughout and provided detailed responses when I inquired. Will 100% request her again on my next trip, and you should too.
