Since we have dogs and children of our own, I need to be sure your dog will get along with the family - human and canine. Other than that, I welcome dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes.

I love including my dogs and my Rover dog guests on walks or runs. (Canines set the pace!) We enjoy activities like soccer, catch, and tug-a-war at the park or in the backyard. I plan on spending everyday with the dog to gain a better relationship and bond with them. Any time the dog needs to go outside to use the bathroom would also be a time for fresh air and playtime. If your dog is not outside playing, then he will be inside with me and the family.

I have a fenced in yard still and have plenty more room for my doggy friends to come stay. 😊 Thank you 🐕 Hello, my name is Alexis. Since I am home full time, I will be able to provide your dog the care and attention he deserves while staying with me. I have been a dog lover all of my life When I was young I cared for stray dogs and found them homes if they did not have one. If I was unable to find them a forever home, I would keep them. This is how my love of dogs started, and it has continued. I have many years of experience caring for dogs – large and small. I think all dogs should be treated like family! I share my home with my husband, daughter Kiyah, son Chase 2 dogs and 2 outside cats. Sweetie– is a Golden Retriever mix. Dexter is a Beagle mix. Both of my dogs are extremely friendly and well socialized with other dogs. The cats Charlie and Ethan prefer to stay outside. We have a very large back yard with lots of room to run and play. There is a beautiful dog-friendly park with shady walking trails not far from our home. I have undergone advanced screening that culminated in a face-to-face, in-home meeting with a home and yard inspection by a company representative. My fees for each overnight stay of up to 24 hours: $30 for a small dog up to 44 lbs. $32 for a dog 45-94 lbs. $36 for a dog over 95lbs. I also offer significant discounts if you have more than one dog. If your dog requires injections, I do charge $5 each. Do yourself and your dog a favor, and send me a message. I will be pleased to do a meet-and-greet so you can plan your time away without worry or guilt! I am a stat at home mom who is homeschooling my 2 kids so I am always home. We like to go on walks with our visitor dogs and love playing in the yard with them. Playing fetch or just having them there while the kids play. We've always had animals in our home so them just being around is what we love. Your fur baby will fit right in like they are apart of the family. I have a large fenced in yard and my dogs will be great company for your fur babies. Lots of playtime out front and back always supervised by me. I have my 2 kids who love animals and have been around them all their life.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but others whom may use Alexis services should be aware. She has been pet sitting (dog & cat) for us for almost 2 years; we have always been happy..until the last 2 bookings. Last booking, she was bringing her children into the house. They are young and noisy, and it was scaring my kitty so she hid every time they came in the door. I asked Alexis not to bring them and she stopped bringing them for the remainder of that booking. This booking, she again brought some of her children, not every time, but occasionally, even though I specifically asked her not to the last time. The 2nd and larger issue is that I booked and paid for 2) 30 min. Visits per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. Her duties were to put meds on wet food for one cat, scoop 2 litter boxes and check water in 2 auto waterers. This time, I also asked if she would put dry food outside once a day for a stray that we are feeding. Alexis came twice every day, however, her visits were never anywhere near 30 minutes each. Most were between 4 and 8 minutes. One was 12 minutes and the last visit was 14 min. That is a LOT less than the 2) 30 minute visits that I paid for. I contacted Rover and offered to pay 1/2 of the fees (I thought this was generous given not one visit was 15 min.). Rover has refunded 1/2 of my fees, which i greatly appreciate. And they asked that I share my experience. I feel very bad for both myself and Alexis. We have been able to rely on her for our kitty care (and at times, for our pup) for a long time. She was top notch, very sweet with our pets, reliable and conscientious. Until recently: I do not know what has changed, but I hope that perhaps my speaking out will bring about positive changes. I will not be using her in the future.
