I currently work full-time, so I am available in the early mornings or later in the afternoons, and have open availability on the weekends. If you pup is staying with me, my significant other works from home, so there is always someone to let the pup outside for a potty break and fresh air!

I have a 6-foot high wooden fenced in yard to keep your pets safe! I also have two dogs of my own to keep your pups occupied and help and work on their behavior. After all, they are pack dogs who tend to imitate behaviors they see from other animals! I also focus a lot of my training with my dogs on how to act if they approached by an off leash dog, to ensure I can do my best to keep them safe on their walks! Additionally, all other rooms other than the living room and kitchen are gated to keep pets out rooms that may have things such as socks, phone cords, etc.

I love to work with all sorts of breeds of dogs. I have a strong passion for pit bull education and love to work with bully breeds. Also, as I have other dogs in the house, knowing their feeding schedule is very important! If your four-legged bestie has any other special modifications or needs, those would be great to know in advance.
Ein typischer Tag
I love to take the dogs on walks around my house. We also live right by a high school, so if the ground is icy or snow covered, I will take them to walk laps on the track! I also love to take dogs to the local rail trail to take them in a new environment and explore all the smells! :)

I've always lived with dogs! They hold a special spot in my heart. In addition I am a Behavior Analyst, which means I study behavior and how to increase desired behavior and decrease unwanted behaviors. This has been very beneficial in training my own dogs and would be implemented when walking or watching your dog! It involved the use of positive reinforcement and NOT punishment! :)

Alexis has cared for my pets several times and always treats them as she would her own. Alexis is an animal lover and will make sure your fur baby is well taken care of while you are away.
Alexis has watched my dog multiple times and she is one of very few people who I do trust with my girl because she has certain allergy needs and requires a bit more attention then normal for her breed and she always comes home happy and healthy just the way I drop her off.
