We have taken care of personal pets and house sat for family and friends for over 20 years. Our four kids love dogs and do a great job of playing with them and and giving them all the attention they could need.

Alexis and Daniel and their star sons and daughter really stepped up during my dog Gus’s stay with them. I was in Chicago for a long weekend, scheduled to return early evening on Saturday. There was a massive Air Traffic Control mess up that really hit O’Hare Airport hard, delaying my return until almost midnight. Alexis and Daniel graciously allowed Gus to stay with them Saturday night and I picked him up Sunday morning. Will definitely book with them again!
Alexis was absolutely amazing. I was in a pretty last minute pinch with my pup and she saved the day! Oakley seemed very comfortable in her home and she kept me updated with multiple photos throughout the week I was away. I will definitely use her again!
We had a wonderful experience! Zeke is a Lab, and they have a Lab too, plus they were watching another younger dog during his stay. He had so much fun having canine companions to play with. Their home is spacious with plenty of room for the dogs, and with four kids plus mom and dad, Zeke received lots of love, attention, and belly rubs. It was obvious he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos, they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. You can genuinely tell this is a family that loves dogs and treats them like part of the family. They’re just kind, caring people. As much as I hate leaving my dog behind when I travel, knowing he’ll be staying with a family like this makes it so much easier. I’ll definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters.
This kind family that just moved to town took in Doogal at the last minute. Alexis and all the children were sweet to our big furball and communicated regularly on his antics. They’ve earned the trust of many dog owners and I would absolutely ask them to take care of Doogal again.
Alexis and Daniel have taken care of Remi a few times for us and have done an excellent job. We greatly appreciate their care.
Great pet sitter family. Jessie knows where she is when we drive up and is anxious to go in. Accommodating for my somewhat unusual feeding protocol. Highly recommend.

Schedule
We can board dogs during the week or on most weekends. We also have a large back deck for lounging in the sun when needing a break from playing. Plenty of room in the house to rest and cool off after being outside playing. Our neighborhood is big and allows for long walks and plenty of people to meet along the way.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a friendly chocolate lab. The dogs will have room to roam and play in safety. We also have four young kids that love to play and run with dogs. Our neighborhood has sidewalks which allows for walks in safety. Both my wife and I work outside the home, but only work 8-9 minutes from the house. We can come back throughout the day to tend to pets if needed. Our personal family dog stays outside while we are at work. We also have a full basement that allows for additional space to roam. We are home ever afternoon and evening to be with the dogs.
Pets
A typical day
The dogs will have space outside to run and play. I love to throw a ball or play tug of war with my lab. We can take dogs for walks in the evening and lots of petting and attention when we get home from work.
