I require meet and greats for all new clients to ensure it’s a good fit for me and your furry friend! When walking dogs (and the rare cat who likes walks!) I complete a check off all leash and harness components before I embark. I typically avoid allowing strangers to pet when they ask, unless it’s specifically mentioned that the pet is tolerant of attention from strangers. I also take care to walk away from any other pets whenever possible to mitigate risk of any other animal being aggressive. I am very reliable when it comes to home security, and I ensure that client homes are secured and keys (if applicable) are returned to lockboxes or elsewhere they belong. I will be in communication strictly through the Rover app and will be available constantly for messages and calls. I send frequent photos of pets as well, as part of my process of communicating with clients.
