Attentive, personable pet sitter!
*Located in Golden Hill/Sherman Heights* PLEASE READ: We have a kitty and dog at home and always need to do a meet and greet before boarding your pet. I have years of experience sitting for fur babies with varying needs, including puppies/kittens, seniors, and animals with disabilities. I grew up in a home with two dogs and two cats and learned how to navigate unique animal ‘personalities’. I am calm when there is chaos, make good judgements when it comes to the health and safety of our beloved pets, and am communicative with owners. Needless to say, I have a special gift with animals and will take care of yours like they are my OWN. We have two fenced yards at our house for your pets to spread out and enjoy :)

I’m SO glad that I found Alexis and Steven! I have only previously left my dog Penny Lane with one other family, and I was so nervous having to find someone new. As it turns out my worry was for nothing because they took such good care of my senior girl! Pictures daily, clear communication, and Penny got along well with River.
Alexis and her husband were very communicative, attentive and cared for my pup so well while I was gone. They sent daily updates and were very responsive! Would definitely use them again!!

Schedule
While I work full time from home, I am able to accommodate walks, play-time, and even vet appointments because of the flexibility of my remote job.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one friendly dog (River, a 6 year old Bulldog/Boxer mix) to keep your pup or friendly kitty company in my home, but am open to staying at yours, too. If River is not invited, my partner will stay home with her so I can look after your doggie or kitty in a place they are most comfortable. I am familiar with crate trained animals, as well, and do not leave animal unattended for more than 3 hours. We have plenty of parks near our house and already enjoy long walks with our dog - we’d love to add another to the mix!!
Pets
A typical day
I like to make sure dogs get all of their energy out based on what their needs are. If you have a high energy pup, we can get some runs out at the dog park. If your dog is treat or ball motivated, do let me know so we can make their walks and park time as enjoyable as possible!
