Pet care experience
I trained service dogs for almost 2 years, and have always had a passion for animal care. I've owned a handful of dogs and cats, as well as the occasional lizard or fish. My top priority, no matter the animal, is providing the absolute best care for them. Whether it be training, food, toys, beds, I always make sure they have what they need. And of course, sprinkle in a little bit of spoiling! Your furry family member will be my number one priority under my care.

These are the facts of our experience with Alexis dog sitting. We have camera footage to back up everything I report. We left for vacation mid morning on Thursday. She came in the house at 7:39pm, and was there until 8pm. She then left and came back at 11:05pm and shortly went to bed. Friday, she left the house at 630am, and came back at 7:23pm. She fed Sadie and left at 7:40pm. She returned at 10:05pm and shortly went to bed. Saturday, she left the house at 7am, and came back at 10:55pm, said she had been at the movies. She went to bed. Sunday, she left the house at 9:30am. We sent her a message at 1pm that we were cutting our vacation two days short and would no longer need her services. She returned at 1:30pm, gathered her belongings, did not feed Sadie the food we had prepared, did not make the bed she slept in, broke a picture frame and said that it was too close to the edge. There is no indication that she ever walked Sadie or even played with her. We came home early because our dog was neglected.
Alexis took great care of our pets over the 4th of July weekend. We especially appreciated her willingness to help us on such a busy holiday. When we returned home, our pets appeared happy and well cared for. We were grateful to have someone we could count on while we were away.
Copilot said: I had the pleasure of meeting Alexis after my previous sitter unexpectedly canceled—just six days before my trip (yes, panic mode was fully activated 😅). Within minutes of reposting and inviting her to apply, Alexis swooped in like a hero. We quickly set up a meet and greet, and both my fur babies and I immediately loved her energy. Instant relief! Knowing she’d be holding down the fort—and spoiling my pets—made leaving so much easier. While I was away, Alexis was incredibly communicative, sending updates and photos and flagging any health changes. She handled medications, mealtimes, and somehow even convinced my very particular Finn to eat… which honestly deserves its own award 🏆. Our home is pretty calm, but I left a decent list (mail, packages, trash days—you know, the glamorous stuff), and she handled everything seamlessly without missing a beat. I will ABSOLUTELY be reaching out to Alexis again. If you’re someone who struggles to relax away from your pets, she’s the sitter for you—you might actually enjoy your vacation knowing your babies are safe, loved, and in excellent hands. 💛
Received lots of pictures and came home to a clean house and happy pups! Would recommend Alexis!
