I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid, and for over 10 years I shared my life with a dog, so I understand the rhythm of daily care, routines, and the little things that make animals feel comfortable and secure. I’m especially mindful with cats: I respect their space, read their cues, and let them set the pace for affection rather than forcing it. Whether it’s a scheduled feeding, a litter box refresh, or just quiet company on the couch, I treat every visit like your pet’s normal day, not a disruption. As a graduate student, my schedule is flexible throughout the week and weekends, and I’m quick to get to and from appointments, so you can count on consistency. I’m easy to reach and communicate with, and I’ll always leave you updated on how your pet is doing.

Alexis was great! She kept me updated and my boy seemed happy and content to be there.
Our sitter cancelled 2 days before our trip. We already had a meet-n-greet with Alexis, so she was the first person we called. She was available for all but 1 day, but she worked with us to make it happen! She was very responsive, and Siggy got along fabulously with her dog (Henny) - it was a win for her too! Thank you, Alexis, for helping on such short notice so we could enjoy our vacation knowing that Siggy was in good hands (and paws)!

I am a full time graduate student and I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to tend to your pet’s needs for the majority of the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I will offer to bath your pet if they get dirty after play time. My apartment itself is free of any major hazards for pets and does not have harmful objects or substances within reach.

A typical day
I will take the dog to the nearby dog park where there will likely be other dogs to play with. I also enjoy going for long walks with dogs.
