Safety and trust are at the core of my care. I prioritize creating a calm, structured, and secure experience for every pet I work with. While I do not offer boarding in my home, I provide high-quality pet sitting and care directly in clients’ homes, ensuring pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. In client homes, I maintain routines, keep pets safe, and give frequent updates so owners always feel connected and informed. I’m trained in dog first aid, adding an extra layer of safety and preparedness in case of emergencies. During walks and drop-ins, I make sure pets get exercise and enrichment. I frequently visit local parks, open fields, and dog-friendly areas for fresh air, stimulation, and enjoyable outdoor experiences (as permitted by the owner).

A typical day with me is filled with fun, care, and plenty of activity! In the morning, I start with a walk or play session to get their energy flowing. Midday, we’ll enjoy time outdoors, whether it’s a walk to a nearby park, playing fetch in an open field, or just soaking up the sun. We’ll have regular breaks for meals, rest, and plenty of cuddles. In the evening, we’ll wind down with another walk or some quiet time indoors, focusing on their favorite toys or activities. I always tailor the day to meet each pet’s unique needs, energy levels, and preferences, ensuring they feel happy, loved, and cared for.

Dogs bring so much joy, and it’s my passion to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for while you’re away. With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, including my own 4 year old German Shepherd mix, and helping family, neighbors and friends with their pets, I understand just how special every dog is. At Anchored Tails Pet Care, my goal is to treat every pup like family by providing plenty of exercise, love, and attention. I’m trained in dog first aid and experienced with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I can also assist with administering medications or meeting other specific needs your dog may have. To give every furry friend the best care possible, I’m currently taking advanced dog care courses to expand my expertise.
