I currently work full time as a veterinary technician and have years of experience with all types of animals. I also grew up on a farm and have experience with most farm animals. I throughly enjoy pet sitting and spoil them as if they are my own. My favorite part of the job is meeting new people, their pets & all the different personalities i get to enjoy. I want to make your pets as comfortable & happy as possible while you’re away. I stick to their daily routines to have some normality while you’re gone. I have a lot of knowledge with animals and their health. I’ll be able to take care of your pet daily and if there is any emergencies or issues, I’ll know how to safely handle them. I’m also comfortable administrating medications.

Alexis took care of our 2 cats while we were out of town. My husband and I were nervous leaving our kitties with someone we didn't know. However, Alexis was very communicative with my husband and me. She sent many photos and texts about how our cats were doing. We also spoke to Alexis on the phone during our absence from the cats. Additionally, Alexis is a Veterinary Technician. The kitties seemed just fine when we returned from our trip.

Schedule
My schedule is pretty consistent each week. Each work day is typically 8 hours long but some days are shorter than others. Depending on location, lunch time breaks are available!

Safety, trust & environment
My biggest responsibility is safety; keeping your pet safe while happy is my top priority. This goes for while on walks, adventures or even just bathroom breaks. As well as any sickness that may come up while you’re gone. Being a veterinary technician, i can realize a sickness sooner than others and know the right course of action.

I absolutely love the outdoors; hiking, swimming, or even just walks! I think physical and mental stimulation are very important & make a happy pet.
