I have over 10 years of experience working and volunteering at a dog and cat kennel, where I cared for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. My experience includes caring for dogs ranging from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, as well as cats with different temperaments and care needs. I have experience administering diabetic shots and other veterinarian-prescribed medications, handling reactive or aggressive animals safely, and helping reinforce training and positive behaviors. Through years of hands-on experience, I’ve learned how important patience, consistency, and compassionate care are in making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

I have a large, comfortable home with a fully fenced-in yard, providing a safe space for dogs to play, exercise, and relax. I also have four very friendly dogs, which can offer great social interaction for pets who enjoy companionship. However, I understand that not every dog is social, so I can easily keep visiting pets separate if they prefer their own space or need a calmer environment. Every pet in my care is treated with the same love, attention, and respect as my own, and I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I strive to create a calm, welcoming environment where each dog feels secure, cared for, and at home while you’re away.

To whom it may concern, Lexi work at my kennel for many years. She is very dependable and has a passion for taking care of animals. She was good at thinking outside of the box when needed, to help suit the pet better. She is patient, loving, and pays attention to details. Her responsibilities were: feeding, letting them outside, taking them for walks, cleaning kennels, giving medications, playing with animals or sitting with them and cleaning up after them. She would be an asset to this company.

Lexi is amazing with animals and has a love for all of them. She's helped me with my GSP, which like all of them is a super hyper dog. She also has 4 dogs of her own that she takes amazing care of also. She is even studying in college with hope of being a vet tech or maybe even a vet one day. Schedule
Right now I work a part-time job, and my schedule changes from week to week, which actually makes me very flexible and able to adapt easily to different pet care needs. I’m able to plan ahead and make time for walks, drop-ins, and longer stays as needed, and I always prioritize being reliable and consistent once I commit to a booking. I enjoy working with animals, so fitting pet care into my routine feels natural rather than stressful. I’m also very communicative, so pet parents can always expect updates and reassurance while their pets are in my care.
