Hey Hey, My name is Alexis Boat. I am a former student at North Carolina A&T State University studying Animal Science. While as a student, I also worked in an Animal Shelter where I was able to learn about various types of information for both domestic and farm animals. In 2020, I was laid off of my job due to the COVID-19 outbreak and decided to start my own boarding business. I’m addition, Rover has always been a way for me to be around animals and help their parents as they need. I have two big dogs of my own, Brandi, who is a one year old Black Labrador Mix and Bruno, who is a one year old Beagle Australian Shepard Mix. My dogs have blessed my life to no end. They are extremely spoiled and I only make sure that they have THE BEST treatment from everyone. With that being said It is important to me to take care of others’ pets as I would do my own because they are our family! I cannot wait to meet your fur baby and get in contact with you soon!

Firstly, Alexis is an absolute wonderful person. She's also an awesome sitter for our fur baby and and will be the same for every pet she meets. Her flexibility is so appreciated but mostly her ability to really connect with animals, especially our kitty. We will always rebook with Alexis! She's become part of our family!

I also am owner of a photography and videography service. Fortunately, I determine my own hours. With that being said, I am open with availability.

Safety, trust & environment
I allow dogs to have fun, and play with supervision. Allowing dogs to be themselves such as sniffing and roaming (to an extent) allows stress so these dogs are more than free to be their lively selves. and I do own dog crates and they will be crated by OWNERS REQUEST ONLY.
Pets
A typical day
During the cooler months the dogs will take a day trip to a Lake for a walk. Going to places like this will stimulate your dogs nose and get them to smelling new things around them, as well as give them more than enough exercise. About three times out of a full week, your dog will also visit the dog park to ensure that he or she is getting enough socializing time with other fur babies as well as my own. Solo walks and group walks are available and even time at Dog Park & Pup is available with shots on record and prior information about your pet around new faces and dogs.
